The input to this circuit is a square wave signal. The output is two synchronous gate drive signals. A requirement of the power bridge is that both signals are never high at the same time. Furthermore, during transitions, both outputs should be low briefly. This is accomplished with delay circuits that provide fast turn-off and slow turn-on. The RC timing network has two different time constants that depend on the diode conduction state. The delay time in this simulation is set at about 2 micro-seconds.
