Negative Clipper circuit

When we apply ac signal to the circuit the ac signal appears to be clipped the neagative half cycle of ac signal. This is due to the diode connected , the signal appears only when it is forward biased. When we change the direction of diode in the current circuit , positive half cycle is clipped.
