Non-inverting amplifier. The op-amp tries to keep the inverting (negative) input at the same voltage as the non-inverting (positive) input, so outputs a voltage across the feedback and common resistors in proportion to their resistances (i.e. the feedback resistor and common resistor form a voltage divider). Note that the non-inverting amplifier can never attenuate the signal (unlike the inverting amplifier) – that is, the gain is at least 1.
