Active Rectifier - Improved

An Active or Precision Rectifier, using an op-amp. This improved version uses a second diode to provide a feedback path during the positive half-cycle, preventing the op-amp output entering saturation and improving high-frequency operation. Note that this type of rectifier is, in effect, an inverting rectifier.
