Two 555 Timers are used in its astable state as seperate inputs. The use of 555 Timers are due to levels of accuracy it provides to run DC Motors when Servo Motors are not present. The continuous oscillating 555 Timer outputs are fed to an H-Bridge circuit that makes use of numerous transistors to open and close the main motor circuit. Namely BC547 and BC557 transistors. The complex configuration of this circuit provides for an accurate and controllable forward-reverse motor control.
