The Impedance Blocks act as Black-box Net-Impedances, that are either Inductive or Capacitive in nature. 📖 Where the Reactance is Positive, the Impedance is Inductive. 📝 The Impedance block then acts as a Resistor & Inductor in series to attain the Inductive impedance. 📖 Where the Reactance is Negative, the Impedance is Capacitive. 📝 The Impedance block then acts as a Resistor & Capacitor in series to attain the Capacitive impedance. 💬 To Illustrate this, we probe the Bode plots of lines set up with Impedance blocks, and corresponding lines set up with just the basic circuit elements, to show that the outputs will be the same.
