Thevenin Equivalent Circuit

For any value of RLa and RLb, you will find the same current flows through the load resistors. This proves that the values calculated for Vth and Rth are the correct Thevenin equivalent values. See also Worked Example 2 from the Thevnin slides, and Example 2 from the Norton slides!
