Transistor Bias

When introducing Transistor Biasing separate Batteries are shown for biasing the Base and Collector Supply Voltage in reality , The Base is biased from the Supply voltage also using Resistors. For the circuit shown R1 is is calculated by subtracting the Transistors Activation Voltage (Vbe) from the Supply Voltage (known as Vcc) and dividing by the required Base current. the Equation is Vcc - Vbe / Ib
