We apply a 5V step to this series RLC circuit and view the series current. We are interested in the peak current and the time at which this peak current occurs. We compare this to calculations for the "overdamped" circuit. It is implemented with real components in www.netCIRCUITlabs.com on the ECT board for comparison.
