Soldering iron schematic for JCD908S 80W 110V, PCB model 908S for reference.
Temperature control buttons and LCD display were not placed in circuit. Just for information: the PCB MCU is a FMD 8051 family with 20 pins (a FT61F135 like chip).
The circuit does not simulating correctly the TRIAC behavior, so the output signal to the heating element is passing only of the wave, the positive polarity, caused by the fact the used TRIAC in the circuit is not triggering with negative signal on the gate, but only with positive signal, which is a not consistent with the real characteristics of a BT136, that is a four quadrant TRIAC with sensitive gate.
There is no BT136S 600E in Multisim Live and even setting a generic TRIAC with parameters of a BT136S had not made the circuit work properly. On Multisim desktop application this circuit worked properly, but it was necessary to create a BT136S with the parameters supplied by its component datasheet.
