Overvoltage protection circuit ver3 Circuit with MOFSET This is a simple circuit to limit the Voltage to the Lamp (load). By Adjusting R5 and the input voltage one can trigger the power off feature of the circuit. Uses: when used inline on a device which needs to not go over a set voltage this can protect sensitive voltage tolerant components. Note: this circuit has been constructed and tested. Works very well. The values of R5, Zener diode and the MOFSET transistor will need to be adjusted in the real world as these parts vary upon which tolerances these parts have.
