fullwave center tapped rectifier is used for conversion of ac to constant dc.here both the positive and negative half cycle produces the dc supply.the transformer has 1:2 ratio.that is the input voltage doubled by the stepup transformer.input voltage is equal to the voltage across the center tapped and any of the one diode.the diode value will always should be below 0.7v else the diode gets damaged.
